The department of social support works closely with all our members to anticipate or know who is in need and what can be done to support him or her. Whenever someone has encountered problems, the department sends a delegation to visit and bring comfort on church’s behalf. Besides moral support, church members do financially contribute to support our members who need to provide for wedding costs or those who have lost their beloved ones.
The church aims to support local communities in the Africa Great Lakes region who suffer from violence and this support will be accompanied the gospel message. The church leadership aims to extend this form of support to vulnerable individuals and groups in our neighborhood.
The church does also offer preliminary support to heal traumatic wounds as several members have gone through hardships in their trajectories to come to the UK. The church supports families who are unable to afford some costs of their wellbeing., women’s association in the church does organize peer-support to assist those who face heavy burden to assist their relatives back in Africa. This is one of the ways that members can heal their traumatic wounds as many are concerned with the socio-economic safety and security of their relatives.
