Youth Conference

Youth Picnic at Blackpool

The picnic at Blackpool was a fantastic experience! One thing I appreciated most was the spirit of togetherness. There’s something special about gathering in an open space by the sea, with everyone bringing food to share, playing games, and enjoying each other’s company.

I loved the unity of having all youths together for a day out and exploring different city and being in a different environment.
I learned about acceptance and kindness towards others no matter who they are or where they are from. I advise that: be grateful and enjoy the moments.

We learnt about antisocial behaviour and how to identify these behaviours. I appreciated having someone our age having come in and tell us about their experiences. I Would advise other young people to stay safe on social media for protection of themselves.

I learnt to do not be addicted with social media or other things which can’t provide me with skills. I appreciate that you take time for bringing youth together and teach them without let them and they go in bad things and peer groups. I can advise young people to do things which teaches them and to come in church so it can prevent them from going a lot in bad things.

Youth in the church

Special Youth Church Services

New Jerusalem Gospel Church aims to establish specific programmes to support the youth and teenagers to grow spiritually. Through preaching and in-depth conversations, NJGC encourages the youth to resist some of negative behavior which they encounter in their daily life. This project aims to have a chat with the youth about their perceptions on anti-social behavior, how to confront it, the risks of how social media can negatively influence one’s positive values.

18 Feb 2024, a Special Sunday dedicated to the youth at New Jerusalem Gospel Church. One the youth and worship team performance:

18.02.2024, a Special Sunday youth service with Eric Ndakize as the preacher of the day. In his message, the preacher emphasized on what God expects from us as the Bible says in Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you. To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”. It was an extremely wonderful and fruitful service.
